Today

I wish.....

That I did not waste so much time worrying about my weight
That I did not worry that everyone hates me
That I did not worry that I am doing a terrible job at work
That I did not stress
That I was more chill
That I would just relax

My prayer will be heard and I will not worry any longer

Right?

Trend

Macarons are the new cupcake.

I need to taste one.

I mean egg whites, almond flour, and powdered sugar.

Filled with butter cream or cream cheese frosting.

Bright beautiful colors.

This may be what I do for neighbor gifts this year for Christmas.

Bestie and I need a day tasting them.

Hidden Gem

One of my favorite artists of all time.....Hank Williams Sr.

He is perfection.

Song-writing genius.

My favorite Hank song?

"I'm So Lonsome I Could Cry"

That song brings me to tears every time I hear it.

My favorite sport of all time?

Football.

Now what happens when you put those two together?

1987

1987

Big year in music.

George Michael
Belinda Carlisle
Whitney
U2
Madonna
Michael Jackson
Whitesnake

I got all my pop music from 2 radio stations in Phoenix

KZZP

and

Y95

I was more a fan of Y95

I loved their morning crew.

Imagine...IMAGINE my surprise when I remembered who the morning crew was.

This is not a joke.

The man who...well lets just say I am not a fan....fed me my daily dose of morning pop for like 2 years.

GLENN FRIGGIN BECK

I literally have NOTHING good to say about him

Except.....

He could spin some wicked tunes in the AM.

Tickets

Last year Ed, Miss and I went to the fair.

We brought someone else along.

We all bought wristbands together so we could ride the carni rides and fear for our lives together.

All of us....but the person we brought along.

He did not want to buy a wristband.

This brought up a very valid requirement for a husband.

He needs to be up for anything.

I mean, I have never laughed as hard as I did on the Tilt a Whirl.

And the person we brought missed out.

This year Ed and I rode rides again at the fair.

And it reminded me of what a good man I have.

Because he humors me and rides fair rides with me.

And buys tickets and wristbands to do so.
